Factory Internet Expands UK Infrastructure with New Tier 3+ Datacentre
Investing in Our UK Infrastructure
We are pleased to announce another significant investment in Factory Internet’s UK infrastructure.
During the last six months, Factory Internet has been working to establish capacity in another UK-based datacentre.
This adds to our existing datacentre footprint and provides greater resilience through the use of an additional carrier, multiple resilient high-speed internet connections, and additional IPv4 internet address space.
Expanding Compute and Hosting Capacity
We have expanded our private compute platforms, which help run our services while also supporting secure hosting for customers.
Our new site is based in a Tier 3+ datacentre in a highly secure location. It is also a PASF (Police Assured Secure Facility) and is based within a JOSCAR Stage 2 assured facility.
Factory Internet will be expanding the storage and processing capabilities of our SOC and monitoring platforms into this site, while also offering highly secure hosting services.
Built for Demanding Workloads
Our initial deployment provides a large amount of usable compute and network capacity for a wide variety of workloads.
The site also gives us the capability to run our privately hosted AI models and platforms, helping us continue to develop secure and sovereign services for our customers.
High-Speed, Resilient Connectivity
We can provide internet connectivity and site-to-site interconnects at speeds of up to 100Gb/s from this location.
This further strengthens our ability to provide resilient and sovereign hosting, connectivity, and security services.
